(UNION GROVE, WI) –– The search continues for a gunman responsible for shooting to death three Illinois men at a race track in southern Wisconsin.

The sheriff heading the investigation says two of the victims were shot, then the gunman tracked down the third victim and shot him before returning to shoot the first two victims a second time.

Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth says the three victims are gang members from in and around Aurora, Illinois. Killed were David Watson, 30, of Oswego, Khalid Howard,30, of Aurora and Derek Edwards, 26, of North Aurora.

Police say the shootings were done at point blank range in a concession area in the parking lot of the Union Grove Raceway. Some 15,000 people gathered there Sunday for a car show and drag race.

Police still are working on a motive and have not recovered the handgun used in the shootings.
