Quinn supports legalizing recreational marijuana for adults

(CHICAGO) In his race for Illinois Attorney General, Former Governor Pat Quinn says he supports legalizing recreational marijuana for adults.

Taping “Connected to Chicago” for Sunday night at 7, Quinn came out in favor of legal pot on the argument that it’s an appropriate criminal justice reform.

“You read about people who made a mistake or had some kind of drug issue early in their life,” Quinn said, “You don’t want that hanging over their head for the rest of their life. With respect to marijuana, it obviously should be decriminalized and I think it should be legalized and regulated properly.”

As for who the former governor likes for governor this year, Pat Quinn ducked, saying “Well, they’re all loving sons of loving mothers as far as I’m concerned.”
