(CHICAGO) Taping “Connected to Chicago with Bill Cameron” for Sunday night at 7, Democrat for governor, State Senator Daniel Biss had a warning.
Biss is warning that his rivals, billionaire JB Pritzker and even millionaire Chris Kennedy could lose even to the unpopular Republican Governor Bruce Rauner.
“The thing we as Democrats need to beat Bruce Rauner is motivation and inspiration and contrast,” Biss says, “I think the notion that we’re gonna put our own wealthy, inexperienced businessman up against their wealthy, inexperienced businessman risks leaving the electorate very, very unmotivated. And the notion that we would nominate JB Pritzker, Mike Madigan’s candidate with ties to Rod Blagojevich and Joe Berrios is playing right into Rauner’s hands.”
Biss warns don’t assume Rauner can’t win.
