Emanuel and Daley wars of words continues

By Bill Cameron, WLS-AM News

(CHICAGO)  Mayor Emanuel is responding to Bill Daley’s scolding of Rahm for something the mayor said to on Bill Cameron’s “Connected to Chicago” program here on WLS.

The Mayor said he’s had to impose so many tax increases for pensions on Chicagoans because of what Mayor Daley left him.

Daley’s brother Bill responded by saying it’s time for Rahm to put on his big boy pants, do the decent thing and own his city.

Rahm was asked what he thinks of what Bill Daley said, “I believe as I always have, the mayor loves the city, but we had a situation given what was happening on education, finances at the schools, the fiscal condition of the city, that we had to explain why we had to address what we had to address to both stabilize our finances, stabilize our pensions which created an environment for unprecedented corporate and business locations in the City of Chicago. Thank you!”

It’s not unnoticed that  Emanuel really doesn’t say what he thinks about Bill Daley.
