(CHICAGO)  Could Elon Musk’s antics on Twitter during the rescue of the 12 boys and their coach from a flooded cave in Thailand affect plans to let him build a tunnel from O’Hare to the Loop?

On Twitter, Musk called the rescuer a “ped” – presumably meaning pedophile, but Rahm really doesn’t want to talk about that.

Emanuel is changing the subject. “I’m not gonna comment on all that, but I’m gonna ask all of you. I want you to think about the 12 kids and their coach whose lives were saved with unbelieveable international effort and remember what’s important. Forget the tweets and remember what’s really important. Peoples’ lives got saved here.”

So far then, Musk’s behavior does not disqualify him from trying to build a billion dollar tunnel from O’Hare to the Loop.
