(CHICAGO)  President Trump has directed Attorney General Jeff Sessions to file a brief in federal court objecting to the Chicago Police consent decree.

Mayor Emanuel is mocking this and the reporters who cover it.

Rahm says it’s only a symbolic friend of the court brief that Trump’s filing and reporters shouldn’t take it so seriously, “You guys gotta stop acting like Pavlovian little mice chasing everytime Donald Trump says something. It doesn’t have any value! We’ve got real work to do fighting crime, making our streets safe, educating our kids and growing our economy. This guy’s not on the level. You know the game and you’re getting played!”

The mayor said if Trump really wanted to help he’d provide more federal funds for the predictive analytics that he says are reducing Chicago crime.
