Sears is hanging on by a thread these days, but it looks like it will be open for at least one more holiday shopping season.

The retailer has reportedly made a deal to stay open at least through Christmas before filing for bankruptcy. The hope is to find someone who wants to buy the company before the end of the year.

Unfortunately, some stores will still be shutting down immediately. Sears employs about 90,000 people across the country.
