(CHICAGO) Chance the Rapper held a City Hall news conference to endorse an activist for mayor.

Chance told a big crowd of cameras, reporters and supporters that he’s proud to announce he’s not running for mayor but is proud to endorse activist Amara Enyia for mayor, “If you’re afraid of change, you’re proobably not gonna vote for Amara, but if you’re willing to see what this city could be, then you will vote for Amara.

Enyia: “I’m probably the only candidate who has worked in government at the top levels, have worked in the private sector and the public sector and also worked at the grass roots level.”

And Chance said he’s more than a rapper, noting “I like to consider myself a political strategist of sorts and yeah, we about to do this thing
