Police in Columbia, Tennessee say a mother fatally shot her four children, then herself in an apparent murder-suicide.

The sheriff says the victims, all teens, had been adopted and home-schooled by 55-year-old Cythia Collier. An adult child of Collier’s found the bodies after coming home from work on Monday.

Police say the childrens’ father was not home at the time. They don’t know what might of led to the murder-suicide, saying cops had never been called to the residence before.
