A caravan of migrants from several Central American countries has grown to more than 5,000 as it continues to march across Mexico towards the U.S.
The caravan includes migrants from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, including many young children. Many more have joined it in the last 24 hours.
Mexican authorities are hoping to detain the caravan in the city of Tapachula. President Trump has threatened to use military force to ‘shut down’ the border to stop the caravan from entering the U.S.
