Tensions continue to increase as it relates to a migrant caravan that continues to make its way towards the United States southern border.

President Trump is declaring a national emergency and vowed to begin curtailing tens of millions of dollars in aid to three Central American nations as retribution for the caravan that will seek refuge in the United States.

On Twitter, Trump wrote: “Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador were not able to do the job of stopping people from leaving their country and coming illegally to the U.S. We will now begin cutting off, or substantially reducing, the massive foreign aid routinely given to them.”

Trump has pointed to Democrats as the reason for the caravan during recent speeches for GOP candidates running for Congress. Who is to blame for the caravan?
