Japanese Cybersecurity And Olympics Minister Has Never Used A Computer

I suppose never using a computer is one way to avoid getting hacked. Of course, if your job title is head of cybersecurity, it’d probably help to be familiar with how one works.

Japan’s cybersecurity and Olympics minister admitted on Wednesday that he’s never used a computer even though he’s in charge of protecting the nation from threats to the 2020 Tokyo Summer Games.

In true executive fashion, Yoshitaka Sakurada told a parliamentary committee, he has “always directed my staff and secretaries to do that kind of thing.”

Despite the lack of computer knowledge and flubbing questions from other committee members, the minister assured that everything would work out.
