National Guard Joins Search For Wildfire Victims

The National Guard is joining the search for victims of the deadliest wildfire in California’s history.

The Camp Fire in northern CA has claimed 56 lives so far, and authorities have now identified 297 people who are still unaccounted for, most of them senior citizens.

The fire has consumed more than 135,000 acres and is still only about 35 percent contained. More than 50,000 people are still under evacuation orders and thousands of homes have been destroyed.
