On Friday, President Trump held his first Medal of Freedom ceremony, honoring seven people including Elvis Presley and Babe Ruth.

During the ceremony, Trump declared that America is “blessed to have the most skill, passion, and talent of anywhere on Earth.”

The Medal of Freedom is the nation’s highest civilian honor. Other honorees included the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, Sen. Orrin Hatch, and philanthropist Miriam Adelson, wife of major GOP donor Sheldon Adelson.
