(CHICAGO) In state politics, billionaire Gov-elect JB Pritzker is planning to be a VERY generous boss.
Pritzker is using his own money to DOUBLE the compensation of his top 20 aides “to attract and retain top talent.”
Chief of Staff Anne Caprera is going to get $298,000. The three deputy governors, Dan Hynes, Christian Mitchel and Jesse Ruiz will make $278,000 each. And there are many more.
It gives new meaning to what Pritzker said on the day he announced for governor in April of 2017
“To solve the states problems we sill need to think big.”
One apparent Bruce Rauner staffer tweeted, “I worked for the wrong billionaire.”
