Air travel can be awful enough just from the security lineups, crowded boarding, and cramped seats. But at least you have seats for the journey to your destination.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case for a British family returning home from their vacation in June, who, when they got to their onboard row, found it completely missing.
The TUI flight crew instructed the Taylor family to use the “jump” seats for take-off and landing, but otherwise spend the two-hour flight riding on the floor.
The Civil Aviation Authority is now investigating the airline for several violations, stating that passengers are “not allowed to be left unseated at any stage of a flight,” according to the UK Daily Mail .
