White House press secretary Sarah Sanders has confirmed that she was interviewed by Robert Mueller’s Russia probe.

The interview reportedly happened several months ago. Sanders says she fully cooperated and “was happy to voluntarily sit down with them”. It was reportedly one of the final interviews conducted for Mueller’s investigation.

Details of what was discussed in the interview have not been made public. Other members of the White House communications team including Hope Hicks and Sean Spicer have also been interviewed by Mueller’s team.
