Officials are holding off on releasing the autopsy results for accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein until more information is gathered.

NYC Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Barbara Sampson confirmed that an autopsy was conducted on Sunday but has not released a cause of death “pending further information”.

Epstein was found unresponsive in his Manhattan jail cell Saturday morning after an apparent suicide. According to reports, he was not on ‘suicide watch’ at the time and the guards assigned to monitor his cell were working long overtime shifts.
