On Thursday, EU officials and UK prime minister Boris Johnson announced that a long-awaited Brexit deal had been reached.

The agreement was endorsed unanimously by EU officials but must still be ratified by British Parliament, who will hold a vote on Saturday.

The status of the Brexit has been up in the air since it was voted on back in June of 2016. Johnson had promised a deal by Oct. 31st, but some segments of Parliament have already stated that they won’t support the new agreement.
