Rahm calls Trump separation policy “an absolute mistake.”

(CHICAGO)  Mayor Rahm Emanuel is joining the chorus of critics denouncing President Trump for separating the children of illegal immigrants from their parents at the Mexican border.

Rahm calls the separation policy “an absolute mistake.”

“As an American I believe in its values and separating a parent from their child who’s only trying to bring their child to a better tomorrow is not who we are, not what we believe in,” says Emanuel, “The only thing I can ever say complimentary about Donald Trump is that he brought people from diverse backgrounds from Laura Bush to myself to agree that he is wrong and absolutely wrong for America’s future.”

The mayor was also updating us on the status of Amazon’s hunt for a second headquarters location, adding “We had ten sites and they came and saw five sites. It is our understanding they like, really like two sites.”

The Mayor wouldn’t say which two sites he’s talking about and of course whether Chicago makes the next cut remains to be seen.
