Two US services members were killed Friday in Afghanistan, according to US and NATO forces.

Specifics such as where the soldiers were killed, what they were doing, or who they were fighting weren’t released, Fox News reports.

So far, four US troops have been killed in Afghanistan this year. Last year that number was 13.

Recent rounds of talks between the US and Taliban have been aimed at a peaceful resolution to the 17-year conflict.
