An Ohio woman is behind bars after stabbing a woman in church for wearing fur boots.
Police say the victim, who was identified only as a babysitter, was dropping children off for choir practice when she was stabbed by 35-year-old Meredith Lowell. A church staffer restrained Lowell, holding her down until police arrived. The victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Lowell has a history of fur-related violence – in 2012 she was charged making Facebook posts looking to hire a person willing to murder someone for wearing fur, and was charged with felonious assault over a 2018 stabbing incident.
