DuPage county Sheriff Jim Mendrick is making a difference in his community by aiding those struggling with addictions as well as transitioning gangbangers into well rounded citizens.  Sheriff Mendrick attributes this to their program that puts individuals through a detox period, they are then assessed once they seem stable and enrolled in one of 80 classes taught by the organization “JUST of DuPage”.
