But now they’re ready to find them forever home! Mitsy and Mellie have stolen the hearts of volunteers at the PAWS Chicago North Shore Adoption Center and can’t wait to steal yours!

Trudie loves getting to know dogs that are similar to her size and can often be found having play dates with select dogs at PAWS.

This friendly lady is looking for a quiet home to relax in. Trudie is not a fan of crowded areas with lots of people and dogs. She would do best in a home with family members 15 and older where she can lounge in her quite forever home. Trudie is dog friendly but prefers a formal introduction when getting to know a new friend.

PAWS pet of the week: Snacks!

SNACKS

Snacks is a sweet nine-year-old Beagle mix who is searching for a family to love.  Unfortunately, his previous owners did not provide the proper nutrition and exercise, so Snacks is extremely overweight.  He is hoping to shed a few pounds in his new home, so his ideal family will take him on regular walks and work to maintain his health.  Some of his favorite activities include running around the yard, looking out the window and cuddling with his humans.

For more information on Snacks, who is currently spending time in a foster home, call 773-935-PAWS, or email adoptions@pawschicago.org.

PAWS pet of the week: Pippa!

PIPPA

Pippa is a gorgeous 6-year-old Calico who is ready to find a quiet and calm household where she can enjoy life to the fullest. This cutie pie spent her whole life in a loving home but was returned by her owners suddenly.  She has been understandably scared and confused by the abrupt change and fearful since her arrival. With a lot of patience, love, and encouragement, Pippa is sure to open up to her humans and become a wonderful kitty companion.  This sweetheart deserves to be spoiled with affection!

Pippa hopes to find an adults-only home where she can enjoy the good life as the only pet. From her previous home, we know that Pippa enjoyed spending her days relaxing with her humans and curling up on their laps to watch television.  She is a laid-back kitty who is perfectly content with lounging around in a sunny spot or perching in the window to watch the birds fly by. Pippa is bound to show her true colors once she is given all the time she needs to learn that the world isn’t so scary after all.

For more information on Pippa, who is currently spending time in a foster home, call 773-935-PAWS, or email adoptions@pawschicago.org.

This sweet boy will immediately climb into your lap and melt all your cares away. His best buddy Kumar is a four-year-old orange sweetheart! Kumar is a bit shyer than Harold and prefers to spend his time relaxing or napping in his favorite spots. These boys are both FIV+, which means they should either be the only cats in the home or live with other FIV+ kitties.  None of this stops these two boys, they are cute as buttons and have so much love to give to the right family!
